Alex recently joined the New York Rowing Association. He was formerly the Director of Operations Finn M.W. Caspersen Rowing Center Olympic Training Site-Rowing Mercer Lake, New Jersey. Prior to that assignment Alex was Head Novice Coach/Recruiting Coordinator UMass Women’s Rowing University of Massachusetts-Amherst.

An exciting Fall season just wrapped. NYRA hosted the Peter Jay Sharp Head of the Harlem Regatta on Saturday September 29, 2007. For an interesting story and video clip on NY1 click below:
NYRA worked with more than 75 athletes in the Young Scholars Crew, high school students from across the city were on the team. More than a dozen students from Christo Rey High School joined NYRA for the first time this season.
